Has Saudi Arabia got away with the murder of Jamal Khashoggi? – podcast

A UN report on the murder of the journalist Jamal Khashoggi has said there is credible evidence linking the Saudi crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman, to the crime. A report on Jamal Khashoggi’s assassination published last week by the UN special rapporteur on extrajudicial killings, Agnes Callamard, said the murder was premeditated and that the state of Saudi Arabia was responsible under international human rights law.

This week, she presented the report to the UN human rights council as the Saudi crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman – the man she believes liable for the murder – flew to Japan for a G20 summit.
